Prowess offers a range of hair care treatments like deep conditioning, hot oil, protein, and scalp treatments to ensure your hair is taken care of from the roots. We also offer spa treatments for your hot shave, including balm face steams and hot towel treatments.
Kevin Paul Dunkley: Founder & Master Barber
Kevin’s prolific career spans over two decades. He’s styled everyone from prominent celebrities, athletes, and executives to beloved locals around the neighborhood who’ve kept coming back for years.
Kevin founded and operated two barbershops in the Boston area, Diamond Cutz, Cambridge, MA and Diamond Cutz II, Boston, MA. He’s also worked in the Downtown and Midtown West Atlanta area for over ten years.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, Kevin is an educator and mentor to emerging haircare professionals. He’s renowned in the industry for his work ethic, creativity, and precision styling skills.
Kevin also dedicates his time to local nonprofits and community organizations. He’s worked in outreach and mentorship to local churches, veterans, youth and individuals in need, homeless and community programs, and “Back to School” events for at-risk youth.
Andrea Taylor Dunkley: Business Operations Director
Andrea Taylor Dunkley has seventeen years of experience in leadership, management and strategic initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, magna cum laude, from Lesley University, Cambridge Massachusetts. She is Principal at her boutique management consultancy firm, ATD Advisory. Andrea is devoted to public service, and cares deeply about the civic, social & economic life of her local community. She serves on the Board of Directors for a number of educational, civic engagement, and nonprofit organizations.
